Few Cacklecars have the solid
pedigree of Art Chrisman's "Hustler 1". Art has had
possession of the car since the day it stopped racing. It sat,
unmolested, for nearly 30 years before Art brought it back to
life to be, in hindsight, one of the very first Cacklecars.

Side note; The Hustler had been
painted before, but the front-mounted blower explosion had taken
the front part of the body off necessitating
a repair and new paing. Doug Peterson photo

In 1989 Chrisman restored the
car and actually made an appearance - no, not an appearance -
a pass at the 1990 Fremont Reunion.

Even before "Cacklefest"
Chrisman's Hustler I was a fixture at the Hot Rod Reunions.

Fitted with a radiator and large
fuel tank, Art Chrisman's "Hustler I" can run "the
can" and still burn down any car on the lot.
When its not out doing "its
thing", the Hustler 1 resides at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports
Museum in Pomona, CA. where it can be seen year round.
